Eating Disorder Awareness Week (Canada)
The week of February 1-7, marks Eating Disorders Awareness Week. Doctoral candidate, Phillip Joy is available to speak about eating disorders and how the nutritional choices that gay men make are influenced by a number of factors including images and narratives around body image, sexuality and heteronormativity. He can also provide perspective on how these factors affect access to adequate health care and educational supports for gay men.
