Jordan Leurdijk is the new Outdoor Classroom and Landscape Manager, effective January 13, 2025.
Jordan graduated in May 2024 from Dal AC with a B.Sc. majoring in Agribusiness. Before studying at the AC, Jordan spent over ten years in project management roles in the residential construction sector and three years in agribusiness in Alberta. Â
His passion for developing a career in agriculture led him to return to university in 2020 when he moved from Calgary with his wife and two young children to Truro. Jordan loves the outdoor spaces of campus and immensely enjoyed classes in the outdoor classrooms and research plots, as well as a summer working for Cultiv8 at the Sustain farm.
He looks forward to developing and maintaining these spaces for teaching, research and the community. Â
